Zach prefers to stand directly in front of the audience to facilitate a better connection rather than speaking from behind a lectern. While a podium is useful for holding the laptop, it is not required for the duration of the talk.

Does Zach bring his own equipment?

Yes. To eliminate font glitches and file compatibility issues, Zach runs his presentation directly from his own MacBook Air using the Keynote application. He arrives with his own HDMI dongle and presentation remote to ensure a seamless handoff with the venue's AV team.

What is Zach’s preferred AV setup for keynote presentations?

Zach prefers to present in 4k but a 1080p minimum is required. His slides include video elements that require audio.
